About
I am a freelance flautist based in south west London. Originally from Scotland, I graduated with a Bachelors in Musicology from King’s College London and then from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Masters in flute performance. As a flautist, I have performed frequently with Birmingham Royal Ballet, Northern Ballet, Opera North and I am currently playing on the Middle East tour of Phantom of the Opera.
As a student, I won the British Flute Society Young Artist competition and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s Needlemakers’ competition for woodwind. Before coming to London, I played with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland.
I teach flute and piano from my home in Streatham.
